I can see why you want to work with his image, it has got potential, but in my opinion a bit too busy. But I would like to see the shop behind the sign and the palm instead.

I go along with the rest of the folks.
Too busy,but great colors.
Could try the hayes island effect.

The colors are wonderful and the contrast (at least to those who know
Hwy 1) between sign and shop is cool.

I'd like to see more of the sign and less of the palm too.

I'd be interested to see more pix of higway 1, we're hoping to come to Yosemite that way in May.
