How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Beautiful shots. But say, is that a cattle egret in the background?

As a city dweller who likes the country better, thanks for the photos. I don't want to give you a bum steer, Stephen, but do you think you are getting that dirty look in photo #2 because you called him a cow? (Hard to tell from this angle.) Ranchers out here are also sensitive to these issues when the highway department posts dairy warning signs in steer range. See the neat stencil to make the point (in the high desert just east of the Sierras.)

He was giving me dirtly looks because I was messin' with his harem. He didn't like me taking pics of them or him for some reason. :D That sign is funny. It is a warning to be wary of cattle crossing the road?

Sure is. It's funny how I can't stay away from birds for too long.

As I am posting this I am enjoying a home grilled burger. I respect these creatures because they keep me fed. I'd hate to see any mistreated while they are here because I know their time is limited.

Ok now you've gone to far rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

Back many a moon ago, there was a place in Texas that sold meat for the freezer.
They did that by sending you a picture of the cow that was soon to occupy it's shelves rolleyes1.gif :wow :food
