a marco look -- I was just shooting the caterpillar [this is a monarch ] and until I looked at the shot:huh did not see all that was before me:scratch --something about the forest and the trees :dunno

    I like the Monarch Caterpillars, and watching them do their morphing is so interesting too.

    Yup Aphids show up everywhere, some are tiny, some blend in with the colour of the plant.

    I have 4 fruit trees down the back yard, and the Aphids attack the same one tree every year without fail ... have no clue why they don't go for the other 3 trees.

    I have a few of those types of images myself -was shooting bees at 2x and didn't notice a tiny beetle on the flower until I got the image on my computer ne_nau.gif

    i never saw the aphids until I ck focus ?? I had the same thing with tomatoes that I grew every year in the best spot in the yard bugs eek7.gif other side of the house lots less ??? thanks for taking time skippy
