Hawk story
So there we were, the wife and I, doing some yard stuff at the house, when BAM!! a hawk swooped down and nabed a pigeon no more that 20ft away from me. :huh
Feathers everywhere as the hawk jumped up and down for a few minutes. Then he just stared at me with my camera in my hands. I thought - cool photo-op, but me and my MPE-65 macro probably wouldn't get too much.
The hawk flew off with dinner.
I shot some flowers.
Enjoy. Comments always welcome.
(All are various osteosperum - with a few night shots at the end. The last one one is clematis - also at night).
EDIT: Images removed. See my gallery for images.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks for the kind words!! I am glad you like 'em.

Well....the only way to get you birders to look at anything other that birds is to put a bird in the title of the post .
Thanks for the comments, too!

Thanks Harry. I am quite surprised none of the squirrels in the backyards have been targeted yet. I guess it's only a matter of time.
