First time sports shooter....
A friend of mine asked me to take a few shots of his daughter's little league game. Brought out the 80-200ED f/2.8 for a spin.
Just a bit outside......
Close to home
Future Cy Young.... This kid was impressive.
It was nice being reminded of ones childhood. It sucks to be grown up. :cry

Some things to think about for your 2nd time out:
I'm not a big fan of shots from behind so 1 & 3 don't work well for me. I prefer faces.
Shot 2 is decent but too much dead space - if you have a looser cropped original you might try changing to a horizontal crop to eliminate all the dead space in the frame.
Any image that doesnt have a face is pretty much useless unless its telling a story that will support it which is very, very, rare.
Focus on faces and action.
Action will make exciting images but expressions and emotions will make great images.
Keep it up, it only takes practice..
