as usual, negative/positive C&C is welcome and appreciated.

#1 "Old. New."
153630003-L.jpg

A good example of eclectic nature of Tel Aviv - this is an old Colonial Style building (from the English Mandate times) near the sea. After many reincarnations, it's now home to a bicycle/surfing shop.

#2 "Bad area"
154728763-L.jpg

Taken in the less-than-glamorous are of Tel Aviv, which until recently used to be populated by "Massage Parlors" and their clients.
Nowadays, it's a bit cleaner and the parlors are almost entirely gone. Still the spirit (pun intended) remains.

(Incidentally, a few really old (and very good and colourful) second hand photo shops are in this area.)

#3 "Let me in!"

154729238-L.jpg

I don't know what the little dog intended to do in the laundromat. But it was 'open', so the dog wanted in. Some people are like that too...

#4 "Something doesn't add up"

154730742-L.jpg

I'll let you solve this puzzle :)

#5 " Evening Pastorallia"

154731358-L.jpg

no comments (from me) here. I wonder if the focus on flowers works (I am not sure myself)

#6 "Too much."

153630385-L.jpg

This is a portrait of an old crutched man inside the internet cafe kind of place. It's a very sad picture for me. The signs scream: "Copy! Fax! Mail! Coffee! Email!". I think, all this stuff is just too much for the old man.

P.S. I have posted this last one before - haven't gotten much comments (one - negative). I've decided to re-post the shot anyway.

Thank you very much for looking. :)

Quite a varied collection of photos - at least technically speaking. The little dog is my favorite, very strong diagonal line from that leash, placed perfectly, really draws me into the photo.

nice work, thanks for sharing nod.gif

I really like the color and the contrasting "time" in the first one clap.gifclap.gif. Just like you said, the Old and the New. Very nice.

    Thanks, eh :)

The #1 shot is a bit of an odd bird / novelty for me, really. I don't usually like shooting buildings, especially the cheery, brightly coloured ones (preferring good ol' urban decay, instead). The decaying 'top part' of that building helped, though :)

even the top half by itself would be a neat shot-

I have to say the photo with the dog is very good. One note - when you shoot that wide it may pay to correct some of the verticals later on in post processing with a skew tool.
