The insurance shot - get him at the feeder, in case you cannot get another:

Beautiful bird and shots, Ann. I wish we had those here. Or, maybe we do and I've never seen one.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

One of my favorite birds Ann, good job! David, we have them around here, you just have to know where to find them.

Yellow birds are hard to expose, pretend you are shooting a white bird and dial in -EC.

Thanks, everyone. We had a pair of them all last summer too, but the best shot I got was through the window. This time, I was totally thrilled that I got the garden gloves off, into the house and back with the camera AND got several shots.

I know, Nick, that I've got hotspots on his shoulders, but thats okay. I actually got in focus shots, with semi interesting surroundings...mwink.gif

They are so pretty - and stand out so distinctly.
