Everyone has been so helpful and wonderful with picking this apart. Thank you all so much!!!! At first I wasn't sure about the darkening/mysterious part but now that I see it, I feel much more comfortable with this photo.
I was wondering about a foliage-type uneven lighting pattern, but didn't think you did found them in the woods :-)
Actually they're right in an alleyway in town and belong to an adjacent shop that sells vintage clothing and toys. There's an iron gate that prevents the public from getting too close (or a photographer from getting a really good angle ). The earlier one I had taken was just a torso that was sitting in a bucket.
