Grimace (Adam) and I went on a field trip to the places listed in the title.
We met up with the Hughes family after shooting in San Fran.
We had a ball, and I can't thank Ed, Missy, and Connie enough for putting up with us.

Here are a bunch of pics from the trip.

Great set Dave. Sounds like a fun trip, especialy with Adam and the Hughes. I swear I'll get to that part of the country one day. Great color in your Mono shots.

    Thanks again.

For the most part, I was using a Canon 30D with either a Canon 28-300is or a Tamron 17-50 F2.8.

For a while I had one lens on the 30D and one on the XT. Most, if not all of these shots were with the 30D.

    Greaps, Nik, Skippy, thanks.

Adam contacted Ed and Jack a few weeks before we went out there.
Jack had something else going on, but the Hughes's were able to come out and play. :D

Skippy, it's a good thing that you have a couple of days there. Adam took me on the whirlwind tour. All of my shots were taken in one day. (San Fran shots)

Be sure to get to Pier 39 to see the sea lions. A longer lens (70-300, 28-300, even a 70-200) works well there.
