Removing/Resetting Stats from new galleries?

Is there a way to reset the stat counts in a gallery?
I often make 2nd copies of images and place them in a new gallery - the current stats for these images carryover to the new (2nd image) so when I start the new gallery - all the stats from the copied images carry over. Is there a way to reset the stats for the new copied images so I can keep track of traffic in the new gallery?

    Hi Michael,
There is no way to reset stats. But you bring up a good point about the carryover if you create a 2nd copy. It is definitely worth bringing up to our engineers.

    Steve - thanks and....
Here is the reason why I ask......
Stats are just that - to track and gain info on something.
I upload all my photos to sell to individuals, but like lots of others here I have been marketing myself to commercial clients. I set up separate galleries to current and potential commercial clients for them to review my photos and hopefully to purchase for publication. I create a 2nd copy of the original uploaded photos (just because it is easier) and place them in the commercial galleries. The problem is I have no idea if the clients are looking at these photos or not. If so....I want to keep a dialog going because I know there is some interest - if not "hit" I may drop them to keep from wasting my time.

It would be nice to have a "Reset Stats" button with a confirmation - "are you sure"....just like the delete photo option.

The way around it is to upload twice individual photos.....but for my workflow it is a more time consuming option.

Thanks for SmugMugs consideration with this potential feature.

    Michael
