On reflection....

Think I actually prefer it without the reflection though. The reflection seems to affect the composition negatively.

Cool shot, did you use black backdrop for this one, or just a good ol' BBQ grill?

I used the black backdrop behind the subject - lit from the front by natural daylight diffused through a dark green backdrop cloth.

1.3 sec exposure time @ f/11.0 at ISO 100.

Very nice. I think I prefer the original. Simpler is usually better.

Oh yes, very nice rich colors. and I like your border. The reflection in the first is such a cool idea. If it could be downplayed a little more, and where the two bottoms meet seems odd. but I don't know what to tell you to do . All that said, I do like them.:D
