Hi! happened upon this wedding while getting some shots of me and my bike taken for another story (that one to follow!)

I would like some C&C on my PP...there was some shadow and really bright spots, so I underexposed a bit to try and save the highlights...I use Nikon Capture NX for new macs. Many thanks!

Nice! Fun happy girls - a great day to enjoy for you too.

    Here's my PS effort:

A little more noise in the shadows, but pretty pics none the less......

I like #3 the best. I if the eyes were more open in #2, i think it would be better.thumb.gif Not a fan of the PS work-- they look a little plasticy...

Have I ever mentioned what a fan of brunettes I am? :)

Too bad the images are so dark.

Really? I like the original images the best. I'm looking on a macbook pro monitor. The newer ones look completely blasted out to me.

Interesting social commentary, with the one girl in hijab-- reminds me of the Iran thread from a few months ago, that Iranian isn't Evil, contrary to what we've been hearing.

While I'm not exactly a fan of the new ones, but yours do appear to be significantly underexposed.

    I like the composition though...

    For what it's worth
Getting correct exposure along with proper white balance is very important (I'm sure you know that already). This version I thought to share because it serves as a prime example of setting the black/white/gray points with curves and then working with shadow/highlights can correct a beautiful image as this. I love the shot, wonderful smiles, beautiful girls..what fun. I also brightened the teeth. Working with the original file would permit better results. This version looks noisy and somewhat pixelated because of the file size.

I would also do a few other things with skin softening (slightly). This is certainly worthy of the effort. Very nice shot. Here's my take:

Cool shots. The 3rd I like best I think, all of them having a great smile.

'riding of into marriage', or something?
