I just found out I'm getting my first new lens :clap :clap :clap

No question or anything really. I'm just excited to be getting my first new accessory :D

    All I know is it's an F2.8 100 Prime Macro :)

    My dad randomlly got it for me, it hasn't arrived yet

    All I know is, as soon as that lens arrives, I'm gonna be EVERYWHERE zooming in and taking pictures. Leaves, bugs, dirt, rocks, dust, pennies, anything small, I'm gonna snap it.

    No zoom on that lens! But, it's a very sharp one. I was working with a lady doing macro stuff last week. I offered her the use of my lens because she was working with the canon 17-85 and an extension tube and getting frustrated. She tried that lens and now her husband likes me less! If I were at home, I'd post a shot from it - oh well.

    Sorry, I didn't mean actually zooming with that lens. I meant zooming as in it gets closer than my standard lens. I should have said focusing :)

    UPDATE: I just got a call from my dad, the lens has arrived. I repeat, the lens HAS arrived.

    It was on my doorstep Sunday morning Andy.

    Probably arrived Saturday, but we were gone from home Saturday with graduation exercises for my nephew.
