I'm Hooked .... at Novice Level Though

I've seen so many people playing this game, but not being a numbers person I failed to understand the concept of the game.

Finally someone at work took the time to show me how to play SUDOKU :D
now I'm hooked :rofl

Anyone who looks close at my numbers and finds a mistake,
humour me and just pretend ya didn't see it okay :rolleyes
I'm still learning :thumb

    I was always wondering about this game, but never had a chance to learn or try. I really enjoy puzzles, and i think i'll give it a try. How complicated is it??

    It's not complicated, but some of them require a lot of thought.

    They are really a logic puzzle. You just need to be able to count to 9.

    Each row, and each column and each group of nine like a tic tac toe board must contain the numbers 1 through 9 with no doubles.

    Love it, Skippy, nice shot... I've been through my addiction and finally kicked the habit (it was tough). I'll occassionally backslide, though. :D

    It's actually not as hard as it looks, well not at the novice level, but still requires you to think about where your going to put your numbers :D

    Nope no bite marks on the pencil, when you work in a Path Lab like I do, you quickly learn never to put anything in your mouth.

    I quite enjoy these puzzles and I will be taking a book with me on the plane headed for the Dgrin Shoot Out later this year :D

    Hi there Chris, I've watched people play this game from the other side of the tea room for a long time, but didn't want to sound dumb saying I didn't understand the concept of the game rolleyes1.gif

    I agree with the addictiveness of Sudoku, when I was buying my last book of puzzles I found Kakuro, have you tried this one yet, similar to sudoku by using one the numbers 1-9 but you have to add them together to solve the clues/values that the puzzle gives you (headscratch.gif starting to confuse my self, but it is fun once you get going)

    What I like about the puzzels is they make you think.
