I sat by a heron waiting for something to happen. Suddenly he turns:

He sees something he likes:

And goes for it with a big reach!

I think it was a love bug. He ate it, then since I was sitting a waiting for something to happpen, he decided to sit as well and watch me.....

We did this for a while, till I got bored and found an anhinga:

He wasnt happy I was there:

So I left and found my guy again:

But I never saw him actually catch anything.....

Active day. The sitting heron is by far the best in my opinion. The others are good but look a tad bright. Nothing that can't be fixed in PS. thumb.gif

Great set and looks like you had fun taking these. Your anhinga came out beautiful with great color! thumb.gif

All good shots but the anhinga is my favorite. They are a tad over exposed and could have used a negative ev adjsutment.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

That good old Florida sun makes exposures difficult.

I cant get up at the crack of dawn like Harry does!
