Any one figured out a good way to carry a tripod with a Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Bag?

No seriously, its really comfortable and doesn't
slip. It also makes it easier to convince fellow
hikers to carry the tripod for you

Anyone got a strong opinion on this matter?
Are tripods straps really required on medium sized shoulderbags? :-)
I agree with using a tripod strap - helps to be able to move the weight around a bit IMHO...
If you're carrying a shoulder bag, it implies (to me at least) light and mobile.
The last thing I want on my shoulder is more weight.
If you must carry a tripod, hand carry it. You can switch hands, drape it over
either shoulder or even use some tiewraps to attach a shoulder strap to the
tripod.
Ok. I'm better now
