Hello my friends,
I haven't posted in a while because I've been pretty busy, however, we are still around
I have a request. Though I don't like to ask for things from other I'm going to give it a try. As you know my son (14) was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes this year. Though our lives have changed and we live a different lifestyle, he is fine and we are all dealing with it the best we can.
In addition, we met a family recently who have a very young daughter (5 or 6 I think) who als has Type I Diabetes. They have delt with it longer than we have and they have put together a team for their daughter to help raise money for the cure of diabetes.
Her name is Hallie and many organizations donate to her cause. Many biker organizations rally events for her in addition to Hooters and several other.
I know the family personally and they told me today that the people who maintain Hallie's website have decided to no long donate any of their time so they would have to pay $50 per hour for any website update. Well I'm a software developer by day and I've informed the family that I'll donate my time to maintain Hallie's website (http://www.hallieshope.com)
Her website has photo albums on it and they really "suck". I'm asking here to see if all of you would be willing to help me afford a PRO account for Hallie to make her website look better and to allow us to use the pro features to raise additional money for our cause.
Smugmug, would you donate an account for us, or Dgrinner's would you help me afford this for Hallie?
