What do you think of this conversion? Trying to improve my converting skills and am seeking opinions. C&C requested please.

    If it were me I would try to find a channel mix or curve that preserved more of the contrast in the horse - on my monitor it is tough to see much 'shape' in the shadows. I would also prefer to see a shallower depth of field on capture as the chain link fence is not adding anything to your story and at least a hint of the barrel. DOF/barrel prefrence aside I do like the shot composition of the horse and rider and the treatment of the mid-tones/highlights in the conversion. IMHO of course.
