Hi y'all,

I just got home from shopping the other day when I got a PM from Trish telling me that ....

we had a few visitor's at the click ponds in the Viera Wetlands
156776811-O.jpg

there were lots of flight shot ops
156776833-O.jpg

156776828-O.jpg

the spoonbills hung out in groups
156776803-O.jpg

and singularly
156776797-O.jpg

Stilts were dropping in
156776792-O.jpg

a juvenile little blue was hanging out
156776825-O.jpg

in the wetlands I was able to get some close-ups
156776837-O.jpg

156776841-O.jpg
the sandhills were so close I had to switch to the 18-200 to get this shot
156776849-O.jpg

finally I had to see the gazebo that the idiots spent that $ on to attract folks to the wetlands
156776855-O.jpg

Pretty bad attendance for a weekend :ivar

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great Shots Harry! Super clean. I can't wait until Late Fall when all the big cranes come back to South Texas along the coastal lines. I'm gonna try my luck at some of this type photography.

Thanks, I would have told you about the click ponds but they had been dead on my last few visits, also its hard to direct a first time visitor to them. Next time you're at Viera let me know and I'll come down (I live 15 minutes away) and show them to ya. deal.gif

Thanks Marina but a swamp is no place for a gazebo. Let the swamp be a swamp.

I am liking the close ups the best --we do not have that many like last year oh well maybe they are all old birds that retired to FLA rolleyes1.gif
