Hi all,

I'm creating a poster for every kid on my son's hockey team for their year end party. The posters will be 12x18. What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback!

Really looks nice and I am sure the kids and parents will appreciate the effort that you put into making this for them. I just finished several 12x18 posters for a skateboard shot to advertise an upcoming competition and they looked great. Not sure where you will get these printed but I printed the posters at Costco for $2.99 each. They did a great job for the price.

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions. I agree about the red border being a bit too wide. I'll try and slim it down a bit and see how it looks.

As for printing, yup, Costco. Can't beat that price. I also did 20x30 posters for another hockey team that I had printed at El-Co Color labs (http://www.elcocolor.com/). They were $9.99 a poster which is another price that can't be beat. The quality was amazing! I highly recommend them if you want to do something big.

Cool shots. Also if you are changing the border/red stroke, maybe darken it to match the Sweater Red?

Cool shots though and cool idea.

Geeezzzzz.... and smuggie is charging $21.99 for a 20x30 headscratch.gif . I may rethink my large poster prints at those prices. I think I'd sell more if I could drop my print cost.

On to your poster. I agree, the red is too think. I also am not keen on the overlapping of photo's.

Though I don't think smugmug's prints at that size are posters, they are actual prints :)

BTW, ya done good, they look awesome... Let us know how they turn out...

Bradford, makes a good point. I always like to match colors in graphics I make up. Match your reds and blues to the kids' jersey colors in photoshop.

The mixing of polar opposite colors of red and blue will at least be pulled together in the photos. In my experience I've found that people notice and appreciate that kind of stuff as tiny of a detail as it is.
