    The zebras are way kewl thumb.gifthumb.gif Like the seagull too, and the warmly lit doe is beautiful. As Harry wrote, looks like it was a good weekend mwink.gif

    Harry, those zebras were about 30 feet of the road grazing and I thought for sure somebody on the highway was going to have a wreck trying to pull over a have a look..

    Thanks Steve, it was a great weekend. I love the area around San Simeon, everywhere you look there is something to point the camera at :D

    Thanks Brian, I'm partial to the Doe myself, we were kicking back waiting for a sunset that just never did much of anything, and four deer appeared out of the brush and hung out with us for a while.

    Is the 2nd pic a Vulture, or a Condor? I've never seen a Condor, but I believe they range from around the Monterey area down to San Simeon. Either way, good shot thumb.gif

    It's a Turkey Vulture, there were a couple dozen, just sitting around waiting for something to happen :twitch
