Shooting in the Pearl District, PDX
These are photos I took of my good friend Emiliee yesterday in the Pearl District of Portland. There's a lot of cool settings there to shoot. Anyways, this is just a sampling of the photos I took. If you want to see the rest here's the link:

That is what I think: very attractive model, interesting dress. I think that if she'll NOT BE LOOKING into the camera - you'll get some realy interesting characters.
(dreaming, waiting, laughing, yawning, boring....)
Otherwise we have snap-shots - you see a lot of them around. We call this in Russia 'raisin' /salt, zest/
I'd try different points of shooting - from the top, from the ground, and so on, so on....

Thanks for your critique Yuri. Here's some shots in line with what you had suggested.

You have some nice portraits and your friend seems very willing to be int to it all. I like the ones of her looking off most but I'd try and watch the background. Try moving her into a background so that the clocks are providing a backdrop rather than competing with her for attention. My favorite is with the silver background.
Have fun with your shoots. Sherrlyn

Thanks Sherrlyn for the critique. I agree with your critique on the clock photo. I'll be aware of that the next time I shoot. Thanks again!
