Got this one from the roadside..He might have been injured..but a good photo opportunity..First posting hope yall like it:)

    Shotting owls is wrong. There are other ways to get good pictures of them without having to harm them. rolleyes1.gifclap.gif1drink.gifthumb.gifne_nau.gifeek7.gif:Dumph.gif :lol :lol4 :heh :slosh ylsuper.gif

    thanks..saw him sitting there along the roadside didnt know if he was real or not...fortunately i had my camera to capture him..strangely i was able to get within 5 ft of it before he flew off ..

    Psssst Andy... I think that's a hawk. rolleyes1.gif Probably a red tailed hawk. Welcome to dgrin lg-ann. Nice catch. Was the bird injured? They usually won't let me get that close for photgraphy.

    I think so ..couldnt tell for sure but he wasnt in a big hurry to scurry:) Not a usual sighting in the city...

    I agree, It's a hawk probably a Red Tailed Hawk. Cool shot, but I think it has a greenish yellow color cast to it. I played with it a little. Hope you dont mind.
