    Nice shots, Terrance! Sorry we weren't able to hook up over the weekend. Were you at the beach Sunday? From the angle on your shot of the opening pass, we probably weren't far from one another. I'm still working on my photos (probably took over 2,000 shots over the past week!)

    Actually on the old control tower. It dates back to the 1940s (maybe earlier) and was replaced by a new tower in the mid-80s, however due to its historic nature, it was left standing, and is now part of the American Airpower Museum . I know people, so I got to hang out on the walkway around the outside of the tower all day :D

    I was lucky - the Sabre was one of the few aircraft using the runway next to the old tower, most used the cross runway.
