pretty neat, not a typical portrait for sure. It's that you titled it with the word 'farmer', I wouldn't have gotten that from the photo. I wonder how it would look black/white. The highlights on the right are a bit strong for me. I like the shot though, cool use of this type of lens.
well, considering one tiny spot on the tank is reading 254, and anything else is 244 and below, I'm not sure about any blown highlights, unless it's some kind of relative, perceptual thing-
but I am willing to be 'enlightened', and further my knowledge in the wonderful world of photography-
I won't discount the possibility that it's my monitor, but I'm thinking that his left arm looks a bit whited out. On closer inspection at the top of the front wheel, it's not blown, just no detail there. The top of the tank also seems a bit whited to me, the chrome on the handles, the sky in the upper right-- basically, all the areas that are white, I'd expect to be another color, and it's weirding me out. I'm willing to accept the weirdness, though

Very unusual take - I'd be inclined to take it at 45 degrees but this works quite well too.

doesn't do very well with the tillin'- but dang if it won't get around the south 40 in no time flat!-
Nice portrait-- but I have to agree, the blown highlights really make me twitch.

would you say maybe there can be 'perceptual' blown highlights?-
anyway, thanks for looking-
Now you have the visual context. The title builds on that too.
Love the wide angle!
