Anna's hummingbirds fledge

This year I was fortunate/blessed to witness another pair of Anna's hummingbirds survive the elements this year I witness the 1st flight.

    Gosh they are all wonderful shots.
    I was looking at image #6 and am amazed at how these little birds and their nests just blend in with the rest of the leaves on the tree or bush they are in :D ..... I'd be thrilled to bits with this lot if they were mine I tell ya clap.gif

    It was funny that you mention #6, when I got to the nest that day one of the birds was gone, I'm sitting there sort of empty feeling when all of a sudden I see this movement out of the corner of my eye, there' the little bugger right above the nest as shown in picture #6.

    It is truely amazing how well they blend in.
