I am soo frustrated with the custom pro pricing...I entered and entered and entered the pricing in this gallery and each time I log out to check...it doesn't have what I have just loaded into it...

What am I doing wrong

I have two guesses. The first is what typically happens when I do this: I forget to hit the save button.
The second may be that you need to clear your cache to see the changes.

    Could be other reasons, though.

    Bulk Pricing Problems
I too am having problems doing a bulk change of gallery pricing! Here's what I'm doing:

    1. Set custom pro pricing for a gallery named "Standard Pricing". All fields either have a price in them or 0.00.
    2. Save
    3. Logout and confirm prices are set.
    4. Login
    5. Go to the "Standard Pricing" gallery and select custom pro pricing.
    6. Choose the galleries(bulk) option.
    7. Select the "Standard Pricing" gallery as the gallery I want the prices to be copied from
    8. Select all Galleries.
    9. Deselect the galleries that I don't want the prices changed on.
    10. Click Save.

At this point, IE6 on WinXP ME either times out, or, I'm immediatly taken back to the photo page int the Standard Gallery where I started the gallery pricing change from.

In either case, the changes are not made to the pricing in the galleries I had selected for the bulk pricing changes to be made to.

This is also an issue with all Bulk setting not being applied when changes are made.

Ok the problem is you are trying to price an image that is too small for all products.

The reason that those photos are not being offered in various print sizes is because the resolution on the photos are too low. You can see our resolution requirements here:
    http://www.smugmug.com/help/print-quality#minprintres
If the photos don't have large enough resolution, the print sizes are removed from the shopping cart to guarantee the best quality.

Upload a real photo to that gallery so you can price all items.

Thank you for the reply andy!

No I am wondering what my best course of action is going to be. I was hoping to just set up the pricing now and then upload the photos when they are done...haven't even been to the show yet, basically what I was hoping to do was just dump them once they are edited, and let them take care of themselves....

should i create a private passworded dummy gallery now with a high res photo and then just copy that pricing once the photos from the show are ready?

This might be the best way...read quickest and easiest for me...what are your thoughts....I will probably be uploading approx 1000 photos once I do have them done...so I want to prepare to make the transistion as easy as possible!

:cry what I thought was going to be a simple project this morning turned into a nightmare....I can't figure out why the prices won't set.

I applied the pricing that I wanted in IE applied to the filled in boxes then I went into firefox where I'm not logged in. I have the pricing turned on, but at still seeing the wholesale cost.

headscratch.gif Can someone help? This is the gallery link!

Hi, set the prices to $0 for any item you don't wish to sell. Be certain you are for sure logged off :)

Let me know if that helps?
