I'm using statcounter to watch web hits.
I see url's like wwww.mysitexx/galery/123456#12345678 which is a specific photo.

I get that.

What I don't get are URLs of the format wwww.mysitexx/galery/123456#P-5-15

what are these?

But of course. What I want to know is what the visitor did to generate the #P... type url's vs. the others. In other words, how's he navigating the site.

15524779-Ti.gif p-5-15 means it's the 5th page of that gallery with SmugMug (large) style thumb.gif

From my experience, I think it's actually the 15th image on that page - right Ivar? ne_nau.gif

The 'Recent Visitor Activity' option shows how he got to the site and how he traversed from page to page while there. thumb.gif

    I know that too.:D

Ivan has helped with it being a page number (I guessed that) and now we're after the meaning of the last two digits.

Put a gallery of yours in the different styles, you will see the urls that are formed. That's exactly what a visitor would see thumb.gif

15 is the indication of SmugMug large style .

You'll see an URL like that when you change pages in the SmugMug style. The first number is the page number, the second is the number of images per page. For example, if you made your browser window smaller so that only 9 thumbnails are showing, then changed pages, it would be a '9' instead of a '15'.

Since it automatically displays the first image on the page, you could easily derive the image number (of the gallery, not imageID) by this:

    for URL yournick.smugmug.com/gallery/galleryID/#P-x-y

(x-1)*y+1 = nth image in the gallery
