Issues after site upgrade

My banner is taking about 45sec to a 1min to load up. It used to be very quick before the site upgrade.

I am on a T1 line.

Also, when creating a new gallery, the banner and navigators are not inherited. http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/2908014#157521963

I just created a new one this past Sunday and realised this problem.

I did not have this issue in the past when I created my 5 other galleries.

Please help. What can I do to get this right?

My clients will be reviewing the proof files this Friday. I need to get it up and running correctly.

Make sure "custom" is checked under appearance and not "Smugmug". That
will disable your CSS.

I think it should be http://www.mafotografix.com/gallery/2908014#157521963

Could that be the problem?

Is hide owner checked?
When in the gallery is the link in the address bar http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/2908014#157521963

Hide owner is checked! yes I found the problem, thanks! and it corrected the address too. Now it is correctly says http://www.mafotografix.com/gallery/2908014#157521963

Banner header logo is still taking a hell of a long to upload. I even set it at 'S' small size. It was a 'save to web' file.

I've experienced this before and I think the difference is because mafoto's customization is all within the user control panel and not a theme. When you use www.smugmug.com rather than username.smugmug.com, it will hide all user customization, but not the applied theme.

I have all of my customization in the user control panel 'customization' and not within a theme: Compare these two links (and appearance is set to "custom"):

You can see that it hides some of your customization, but not the theme (easy to see with the web developer toolbar).

I'm going to reload/link the header banner photo. I think something happened to the orignial link or file itself. Its only 500 x 70 pixel, so it can't possibily take that long to load. Something isn't right. A quick check it isn't showing up the size of the file under properties either.

It should say 'ma [logo] fotografix' in red and white (text).

Tried it on 5 different computers; both wired and wirelessly.

We're using a T1 line here.

Everything else comes up pretty quickly except the top banner.

Pops right up in Firefox. IE6 is still loading it loading it loading it loading it
loading it loading it loading it loading it.:D

Now this is really wierd. As it is loading in IE6 and not showing hitting stop
and it shows. The -S -M & -L all did it all using the direct photo link.
