I like the color and the "glow", almost like a green flame. I'm not crazy about the placement in the frame with the black (neg space?) on the left. I think it's a good idea though. However I am far from an expert. but I thought you should get some feedback and this is how it struck me.

Thanks v. much for the feedback Lisa, I appreciate it. The placement and negative space are intentional, so I did have to think about what was going on. My goal was to make the image even closer and more intimate.

Very cool! Welcome to the forum. If you do lots of shots of this type, you might consider posting them in the Cool Shots forum. I think they would go over well there!
