For the New York Air Show at Jones Beach this past weekend, most of the performing aircraft were staged out of Republic Airport, and many of those were hosted by the American Airpower Museum at the airport. I spent much too much time at Republic the last week, but one of the highlights was a special night photo shoot we were able to arrange. About a dozen area photographers were invited to shoot the air show aircraft Saturday night, after the museum was closed to visitors. Here are a few of my shots:
