A little more time in RAW processing...

Please let me know what you think. Quite a bit more post processing than I'm use to but I think it looks better than my first attempt.

    Removing the flash reflection is not easy to do, assuming that's what you've done here right? you toned it down pretty dang good thumb.gif

    I find in this image the Ants eyes don't look sharp like ones you have shown us in previous shots.

    I shifted the white balance to cloudy to make the light warmer and it also cut some of the flash reflection out. I also reduced the brightness and bumped up the contrast and saturation. I then used the close stamp tool (10% opacity and mode set to "darken") to reduce the reflection even further. I didn't remove it completely since I think it would make the shot look flat.

    At F16 diffraction is robbing me of a little detail in those eyes, but the extra depth of field paid off in the overall image.

    I think one of them is giving the other a sample of the sugar water and telling the other ant how to find it. It's very common for me to see an increase in the number of ants within minutes of that exchange -they seem to relay the information...
