Auckland beach

Last weekend i was up at the cluttered city of Auckland and found this narrow beach so i took out the wiiide angle lens . Hopefully tomorrow I will have broadband and will be able to view and comment more often on others photo's ....

Nikon D80 , D50 , SB600 , SB800 , Nikon 18-200VR , Tamron 28-75 di 2.8 , Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 , Nikon 50mm 1.8 . Tamron 17-50 f2.8 , Nikon 70-200 VR f2.8 .

    Is that old pipe in use, or just ageing with the tide over the years ?

    I'm not sure if it is in use . For a couple of the wide-low pictures I had the camera close to the ground . I decided to leave the horizon at an angle because it seemed to add impact .
