Starting Senior Class Portraits

I have 2 real quick questions for anyone who can help me. I am starting my senior class sessions in the next week or two. I will be photographing alot of baseball and football players. I want to use fire on the top of the balls and on a baseball bat. Any suggesions as to how this is done? Also, for the senior girls, I want to use a white wall with a shiny white floor that I have seen in some glamour shots. I am unsure if the white floor is a piece of white plexiglass or some sort of flooring. Is there anyone who know where I can find this floor. Its not a mirror because the reflection is like a high gloss floor. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!
