Site Performance

I've been noticing over the past few days (since Memorial Day weekend) that the site performance has been inconsistent and laggy. Any ideas when this will be alleviated (other than when people stop using the site so much?)

    There were two spikes the last two days, both "deep in the heart of the system" that sort of clogged things, Onethumb (our CEO and Chief Geek) fixed them rather quickly once they were identified. The site is moving along quite fast for all right now. Are you having any troubles today?
