This is my first post other than the "Show us your mug" thread and as I mentioned there I am fairly new at the whole photography thing and I am looking for as much honesty and criticism I can get. This is a picture of my nephew Logan on Easter. Let me have it.

Nick is way right!
I'm a big fan of natural light, especially window light. And I think it works pretty well for the little ones!
Logan's really cute in that pic, and that's probably what you wanted so that was great! He's also a bit dark (underexposed) and that just might not have been what you had in mind. That's where Nick's advice comes great: just have your camera around, and eventually you'll catch him in good light (while he's both still and facing the window light). This way you'll get nice detail in his face and probably brightly lit, gorgeous eyes!
