Help on colored pixel noise?

A few weeks ago, reading a thread here, someone explained a method in PS, which I believe to be the liquify filter for removing color pixel noise. I've got a couple shots when enlarged, they are identifyable. I'll have to bring it up and take a screen shot of 100% to post here. Went looking with the search engine in this forum but can't seem to find the technique. It worked really well and thinking I'd remember, didn't write it down..duh?
Anyway, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure of the exact mehtod you mention, so I am interested in seeing more.
More commonly, colour component noise (not luminance) is handled in the RAW converter or in Photoshop using methods similar to this:

There is also a chromanoise reduction action in the DigitalDeluxe action set:

Hope this helps,
