I took a trip to DL and CA with the LAShooters last month, and never got around to posting my shots.

Here's part of the entrace plaza between the two parks:

First stop (not in chronological order), California Adventure:

We head out to California Screamin' roller coaster to practice our panning:

A little relaxing around the Jellyfish ride:

The focal point of the park, the giant Sun Wheel:

On to Disneyland... Hmm, where should I take a picture of the castle?

A little detail at Mr. Toad's Wild Ride:

My favorite part of the trip, taking a leisurely ride on the Lilly Belle:

This was a private train car imagined by Walt himself, but he never got to ride on it. It was only completed about 10 years after he died.

Hope you enjoyed seeing the Happiest Place on Earth!

Nah, Walt's frozen head is in the train, so he's riding it after all.

Hi Chris, Disneyland is my favourite place too clap.gif
Everyone's a big kid once they are there.

Has the Finding Nemo section opened yet ???
If not do you know when it's due to open by any chance ?

I'm going there again on my way home from USA later in the year.
It's a wonderful way to break up a long trip, I love the atmosphere, the colours, the sounds, it just makes you feel like a kid again.

    My most favourite rides are.

Space Mountain (The Best Ride in the Park) :ivar
    Indian Jones
    Big Thunder Railroad
    Pirates of the Carribean
    The Haunted Mansion

Thanks for sharing your images, got yourself some real nice shots there thumb.gif

Hey Skippy, The new subs are opening June 11th! Here's a picture I took from a slightly later trip after they finally took the walls down:

My list of favorites is very simliar to yours, except I also like Splash Mountain and the Matterhorn. The new roller coaster in California Adventure is definitely worth a ride, too. But just down the road in Knott's Berry Farm, Ghost Rider tops them all for thrill purposes.

Also, with a 2-year-old, I'm getting much more acquainted with Poo, Dumbo, and Small World than I ever necessarily wanted to. :D

Ohhhhh those Subs looks pretty neat :D
It will be open when I go whooohooo!! clap.gif yippy!!

I don't like rides that flip upside down, and I think Knott' Berry Farm is full of those kind of rides isnt it ??

I made sure I went on the boat ride through " It's A Small Word "
they could use that as a brain washing technique cause you cannot get that dang song out of you head once you have been on that ride rolleyes1.gif

I must confess, I have been on every ride, yup even the little kids rides in Disneyland, except for the TeaCups, they would be enough to make me motion sick with all the spinning rolleyes1.gif .

Thanks for the update on Finding Nemo thumb.gif .... Skippy

(Lost this thread!) Thanks Tim and Angelo!

Skippy, Knott's does have some upside-down coasters, but Ghost Rider is a good old wooden roller coaster, it's just fast and wild, no inversions. Magic Mountain has tons of the serious thrill rides that you wouldn't go on. :D I don't ride the Teacups anymore, either. I may be forced into it when my boy gets a bit older though!

Angelo, where are the pics? mwink.gif
