Horses in the mist

Another beautiful, although cold Saturday morning. I’ve dropped my wife to work and took a scenic route home, passing this meadow with grazing horses. The sun has risen few minutes ago and was shining through the tree canopy creating multiple, visible paths of light in the morning mist. Unaware of the beautiful surroundings the horses continued to eat their breakfast.

Thanks everyone. I have been very lucky in last few weeks with unusual landscape sightings, including this scene. It was only visible from a very narrow angle. Few steps either way and all these rays became just a mass of fog

I agree with a previous poster that some tighter shots of the horses might be really neat.

O/T I wonder what the history is of sunbeams invoking the meaning of a deity?
