Thanks everyone...this peli had a trail of seagulls following him which I didn't capture. He swooped around and around and then suddenly seemed to be losing his grip on his prize ....(these shots are across the channel and cropped hugely.)
So he skidded (burned rubber!) and came in for a landing...
Literally coughed up his fish like a hairball!!! Forced it back into captivity... (missed my focus here)
Resumed flight position...
And then headed out to sea. Lots of Peli fishing at this location, they are fun to watch. I'm usually there on Sundays.

I was wondering is the old saying true, "Their beak can hold more than their belly-can? If so I would guess that is how they got their name eh
