This Little Red Fox came trotting by as I was shooting a Grizzly. The beautiful winter coat had started to shed off the hind quarters but it's still a nice looking animal.
This is what makes Yellowstone so fun. You never know what critter will be around the next bend.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

When I was just a boy of 5, I had a Red Fox visit me all the time. Some folks say no way, but I have a vivid recollection. Of course, at the time I thought it was totally normal.
HeyRic, I belive you. Last year I sent several hours every mourning for weeks shooting a den with 2 adults and 8 kits. They became quite comfortable with me. The kits would come right up and sniff my camera. Here is an example of a very friendly lil cross variety red fox.
And some of the other kits
A friend of mine says he has a fox near his home that comes over to his house to play with his golden retrievers

I had a Timber Wolf / German Shepard for a pet many years ago...he was very devoted and huge at 125 lbs. We appropriately named him Samson.
