This does not happen every time but often enough. I mouse over a photo then move my cursor over the "photo info" and this will appear. Please view the part I circled in red. http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/2262642#158659974-L-LB

Also, I keep having to do a task twice (delete a photo, arrange a photo, etc. (photo tools) This is also not every time but it happens often enough. Any idea on what the problem is? Thank you.

Hi, could you give the link to the page this occurred on? Also, was it in IE6 or any browser? Thanks.

OK. I can't repeat it. If you can replicate it, please list all the steps, okay? Thanks.

Next time it happens I will document as much as I can. Thank you for taking a look.

I've also been trying to replicate this problem, but have had no luck so far.

    Some food for thought:
Is there any form of consistency you've noticed? is it always logged in? or logged out? Always with a certain photo? Is it always the first one on a page, or always the n-th photo, where n can be even, uneven or something else? When it happens, can will it happen consistently until you refresh the photo? Or once you move your cursor away and back over the phot does it behave normal again?

To answer your questions: It's always a random photo but I am always logged in. I can move the cursor and it goes away but will then reappear later. It can then be the same photo or a differant one.

    Happened again!
OK, this morning I go to this gallery of mine http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/1629084
and click on this photo http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/1629084#149917071 then this photo http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/1629084#134640213 then this photo http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/1629084#102413940. I mouse over the photo and the info window rolls out and this screen capture illustrates what happens. That's all the detail I can give you. I did not do anything else. No other browser windows open, etc.

Using your steps I couldn't reproduce it, but then I did some resizing of my browser window and the layout changed to smugmug small. Then making the window bigger again and having smugmug big again I had the same messed up photobar as you had!
I'll try to narrow it down further.
    (being on IE6 as well)

Okay, got the most simple procedure to reproduce it here in IE6:
(- cleared all cookies / temp internet files)
    - window has to be big enough for smugmug style
    - load gallery http://wiseguys.smugmug.com/gallery/1629084
    - hover over photo so the photobar appears
    - resize the window until smugmug small style appears
    - hover over photo again until photobar appears and voila you get the attached messed up photobar

It also happens to one of my galleries.

I'll try it in other browsers

EDIT: Deleting cookies should be optional.
EDIT2: Doesn't appear to be happening in Opera and Firefox. So looks like an IE6 (possibly IE7 - can't check that) only problem
    EDIT3: Forgot my screenshot

I just followed Sebastian's sequence in IE7 on Vista, and the problem does not appear in that environmnet (for me at least). Photo info remains intact.

I don't resize windows etc. but it's interesting that you got your browser to give you that window.
