I still have a long way to go- but here is last years 'best' dance recital picture- Point & Shoot Jones- Nothing on the stage was even close to this good. :cry

    I love to look back at my old photos and see how far I've come as well. That's a great action shot you've got of her and I'm surprised at how little to no noise there is for 1600 ISO.

    Super shots Jeff. I really like the 2nd one of your daughter. Quiet an improvement. Just think what you will be able to do by the time she is 18. :D

    The rest of your shots are very good too. I'm sure the parents would like a copy of those.

    What part of Florida are you from????

    unbelieveable difference!! That 2nd shot of your daughter (the first of the "new" set) has gallery wrapped canvas written all over it! What an amazing memory of her time in dance...clap.gif

    Nice shots. Looks like you had decent light and a great vantage point to shoot from.

    I took some of my daughter's ballete and was using 1600 @F2.0 and got barely acceptable SS. Lighting was awfull, at least to me.
