    That's a little Jumping Spider, they have those distinct large two front eye's, that look way too big for their little bodies, and they jump.

    It's a very colourful shot he looks like he is deciding if he will jump to that leaf stem on the left hand side of the picture.

    I'm not a spider fan, but I LOVE this shot! Great colors, super detail, very nice composition...lots of personality here! That little spider is almost cute! :Dclap.gif

    Thanks everyone for the feedback. We don't exactly have a wildlife preserve out here in the desert, so I'm pretty happy when I can find things like this in my own backyard.
