Monarchs mating

At least I think these are monarchs. They were one of the many hackberry trees that are in the back of my lot.

    Definitely Monarchs... I think anyway. I don't believe I have ever seen any here in Arizona. Are hack berries edible?

    Yes, they are, but only when ripe and fall from the tree. I won't try them though. I have very sensitive stomach.
