Javalinas

These shots were taken in 2006 using a point and shoot. At that time the herd size numbered 18 in the last week or so there are now 24. They pass through my yard about every second or third day. Size reduced only, no cropping or PP.

    You in Texas. My family is very used to javalinas. We used to get them all the time on the different leases we had in south Texas. Of course, my grandfather would always tell me the story of when he got chased up a tree by a wild boar javalina. I'm not sure if it was true but it made for a good story. Nice captures!

    What a fantastic yard you must have. Where exactly is it. I haven't seen Javaina's since I was stationed in Arizona 40 some years ago.
