Stopped at the Nature Conservatory in hopes of seeing bigger birds. But there were only a few duck and some dragonflys.

I still have alot to learn, so C&C welcome!

Welcome! What you have is a good start. Not too many start off with a nice BIF (bird in flight). The bird is a bit far away for the lens you were using though. As far C & C, first I would just wait to see if you can get a pic when the bird is a bit closer so that more detail shows up. If you are worried about motion blur turn up the shutter speed at least to 400. If it is not a particularly sunny day, you may want to bump up your ISO a bit so that the sensor is more sensitive the ambient light. I'd say again, somewhere around 400ish. If it is a really bright day, you may even want to lower the EV value, especially if the bird or animal you are photographing is white. Keep practicing. There are a ton of great nature photogs here. I've learned a ton here and still keep learning.
