Here's the last in my series of 70-200 f/4L IS baseball shots. Sadly I have to send the lens back to lensrentals.com tomorrow (GREAT service, btw).

While visiting cousins in Cleveland, one of whom has season tickets second row behind the Indian's dugout, I got to watch the Tribe lose spectacularly to Detroit. Thankfully I was only in it for the pictures and not entirely emotionally invested :D

Again, all shot with a Canon 300D in manual mode. Unfortunately the weather wasn't all that great, although the rain managed to hold off until the 9th inning so I guess that's something. C&C welcomed and appreciated!

Very nice set , Jennifer. Your photos really have great contrast and pop. Do you do anything in particular in post processing?

Really nice work Jennifer. Excellent PP work to go with the good timing on these, just the right amount of saturation and sharpening. Thanks for sharing these shots.

I don't do a whole lot. As Dbl noted, just some saturation and sharpening. The 70-200 f/4L is so incredible, it really doesn't require a whole lot to get great shots. Just good timing and a little luck. Of course seats behind the dugout don't hurt either mwink.gif

    Nice one!

Nice series of the pros. I haven't made it to the Jake yet this year but might be going on Fathers Day.

Would really love tickets to one of the Finals games. The Cavs impressed me against Detroit and I think this will be a better series than the pundits believe - I see 6 games.

    Very nice.
    That Sizemore shot is sweet.
Did you take these through the screen? Just curious form where you are seems like there would be a screen and these look so sharp.
Shots are spot on for color and your timing was perfect on most of these shots.
    Well done!

Actually we were just to the immediate left of the screen. Had we been one section over to our right, we would have likely been behind it. It was perfect! clap.gif
