D2Xs and 70-200 , worth $51 ?

I put a bid on this auction for fun , I wouldn't mind stripping the lens down to see how it all works and maybe rubbing sandpaper over the image sensor of the D2xs . Apparently the setup fell into the water and sat there for three months before being recovered . Would anything in the setup be worthwhile re-using ?

This thing is roaming around all the forums . Don't you think that the owner already thought about trying to refurbish itby Nikon ??
