mom and three kids

A friend has asked me to take some Father's Day pics of her and her three kids (ages 5, 3, not yet 2)...tomorrow!!! I'm trying to remain calm! :huh Yikes! I find this kind of shoot so intimidating. Any tips, tricks, ideas, wisdom on posing, lighting, lenses, etc...? Will my 90mm be too long for a group of 4, even if we're outside? I can get away with a wider aperture for a group if I'm farther away, right? Maybe I'll just use the 50mm. Good grief...I either need to do this more often and get used to the nerves or just stick to torturing my family!

Outside the 90mm should do well if you can get about 15' - 20' back... depending on how you group/pose...

p.s. Also consider using fill flash.
    I take lots of pictures--sometimes I make a photograph.

Even though I can understand you being nervous, RELAX, you do such gorgeous work - why do you think she asked you to do them?:D
